Bloggers and Entrepreneurs need down time too

Self Care for Entrepreneurs and Small Business owners is hard to come by!
This is the second installment of the Curated Essentials articles where I showcase the products on sale in my affiliate store.
How many hours are you pouring into your blog or business every week? Probably a lot if you really want to get ahead with it. How many hours are you putting in to take care of yourself? Probably not a lot, specially if you have a family.
Life is already busy as is, so when we are trying to build a business by ourselves, things can get really stressful. I personally have two kids and a husband, which means I’m already quite busy with them so my business grows around them. I have to separate time to get things done and most recently I have been insisting to my family and myself that I have time for self care as well.
There are a few things that we can do to get some down time / me time while being busy with our businesses. One of the things I find perfect for us small business owners are subscription boxes. They arrive at our homes and we can enjoy the products on our own time.
My current favorite subscription box is Salty Bath. Tami, the creator, has become a good friend after becoming my design client and her vibe is just awesome. She creates al the products in her home lab with lots of love and positive energy. Every bath salt or bath bomb and every essential blend is infused in positive vibes to make your down time ultra special.
*Salty Bath is only available in the US and Canada but we hope to be able to get it internationally soon!

I am in love with subscription boxes. The Salty Bath one would make me take time out to relax and unwind in a very spa-like fashion!
It’s sad that we get so busy that we forget to take care of ourselves. Subscription boxes are a great reminder that we are important.
I have yet to try out a subscription box. But it makes perfect sense to subscribe to one just for self care purposes. I am a mom of 3 and I homeschool AND I just started up my blog so I am super busy & I can definitely relate to taking care of everything else, but myself. Gonna check out the Salty Bath Box now…
Bloggers desperately need downtime haha. This one right here took a little too much needed downtime earlier today!
Oh my I love salty baths, they are my favourite thing! I much prefer them to the regular bubbles or bath foam. Oils are pretty nice too, especially the yoga ones! I can’t even tell you how much bloggers need a downtime, especially if it’s your full time job, aaah! x
I fully agree! I’ve been trying to set my weekends aside for no blogging at all. It’s hard because I’m always thinking about it but it’s important to turn it all off.
A bath is the best way to relax. I like to soak in a nice warm tub while listening to Pandora. It really does help you to restore your mind and body.
Self care is so important and we can easily forget! I love the idea of a salt bath though. It’s so nice to relax in!
Down time and self care is so important! This is a great reminder to tune out and catch up on work later.
Preach!!! This is so very true – and very hard to accomplish as well. These bath salts look amazing. Love the idea of a subscription service that almost forces you to take some time and pamper yourself.
You were really preaching to the choir here! I feel so overwhelmed at times
Trying to get everything done. Shoot. I don’t know which subscription to try bc I’m very interested in them all!!
You are so right! Self care is so important. I got burned after Christmas last year. This year I’m making more of a point to check in with myself. I love these subscription boxes. I want them all!
Ahhhh self care really is important!!! If we don’t take a time out every once in awhile we will drive our selves insane!!!
This is so true you are preaching to the choir.
